The car after the rally only two spots replaced.

Having followed "Mull" over the years from 1977, having competed, marshalled, spectated, bought the tee shirts, read the book and this year watched the web cam and then followed the results on the screen at home - I found the coverage excellent and like a big kid, nearly as exciting as being there.

Waiting for the results to see if number 144 came through the various stages was nerve wracking to say the least. Marking off the Subarus and Evos and other expensive machinery which didn't make it.

It was a pleasure when a third generation, just 19 year old, in a little Yellow and Blue Metro made it through all the stages. Last finisher is an achievement even for a seasoned driver. Getting a Pot a bonus.

Chris's first taste of Mull was at the age of three, his father who navigated this year was 15 on his first trip servicing, for myself and an older brother who this time serviced. All the family followed the result from home.

An enthusiastic 3 year old watching a Lettermore stage.

Thanks again to all the organisers who put such a lot of time and a great deal of effort and enthusiasm in to making this the Greatest Rally on the World.
